Foaling Down
Platinum Package – $850 for 2 weeks
One inclusive charge for the care of your mare and foal for the all-important first two weeks after foaling.
- Includes:
- supervision of the foaling down process;
- a 2-week stay from the mare’s first signs of foaling;
- agistment including premium feed twice daily, meadow hay and handling;
- foal handling, which includes halter and lead training and general handling.
- Excludes:
- veterinary and maintenance costs for mare and foal.
Gold Package – $600 for 2 weeks
A convenient package for owners who just need supervision of the foaling down process.
- Includes:
- supervision of the foaling down process.
- agistment for 24 hours post foaling.
- Excludes:
- agistment and handling after the first 24 hours post foaling.
- foal handling, halter & lead training;
- veterinary and maintenance costs for the mare and foal.
- Optional extrras:
- Mare and foal agistment is available for an additional charge of $185p/wk, which includes accommodation in a foal-safe paddock, hard feed twice daily and meadow hay;
- Handling and foal training is available for an extra charge of $40p/hr.

Rugging and meadow hay are included in all agistment types above unless otherwise advised. All extra costs including farrier, worming, vet and handling are all at owner’s expense.
